Hi Hi
Here is how I make Project M into an .ISO,
I have only tested the .ISO with Dolphin 5.0
- 1st you'll need a USA version of Super Smash Bros. Brawl ripped as an .ISO,
- the latest version BrawlBuilder, https://github.com/mogzol/BrawlBuilder/releases
- Project M 3.6 (Homebrew), https://1drv.ms/u/s!AjH6jtbsPlbekn0lFdlW2cwokOwb
- A copy of the banners too https://www.dropbox.com/s/g6hueuu282v9sfi/Banner Set v1.2 Final for Project M 3.6.zip?dl=0
Unzip everything into separate folders and put the folders somewhere easy to get to like your desktop.
Now load up BrawlBuilder
- 'Brawl ISO (?):' click Browse... and navigate to where you have the USA (NTSC) .ISO
- 'Mod Folder (?):' click Browse... and navigate to Project M 3.6 (Homebrew)projectmpf (make sure to click into the pf folder and then press Select Folder)
- 'GCT File (?):' click Browse... and navigate to Project M 3.6 (Homebrew)codes and click on the 'RSBE01.gct' file then click Open
Now you have some Optional Extras (you can just press 'Build ISO' now but i recommend doing the following 1st)
- 'Remove Subspace Emissary' - Don't tick
- 'Change game ID:' - Tick and make an ID, I recommend you use RSBEPM as that's the ID on the GameTDB, USB Loader get it's metadata.
- 'Change game title:' - tick and add some thing like Super Smash Bros. Brawl PM, I called mine 'Smash Bros. Brawl - Project M 3.6 (USA) [RSBEPM]'
- 'Change game banner:' - tick and click Browse... navigate to the 'Banner Set v1.2 Final for Project M 3.6' folder and click on the 'RSBEPM.bnr' file then click Open
Now you're ready to press 'Build ISO' chose where you want the new .ISO to be placed once it's made and press Save
It will take about 5-10mins to make the new .ISO for you and you will need about 16GB of free space on your hard drive.
So that's how I make a normal version of Project M but if you if you want to make a wifi safe version of Project M you'll have to change a few things. (Wifi safe version lets you play online)
to make this version what you need to do 1st is unzip Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) again and call this folder 'Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safe'
- navigate to Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safeprojectmlauncheraddons and copy and past the 'wifi.rar' to somewhere easy to get to like the desktop, extract it to a folder, open the folder you have extracted to and you will see some files. (keep this folder open as we have to copy over the files from to to the Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safe folder
- navigate to Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safeprojectmpfmenu2 then copy the 3 .pac files from the 'wifi' folder and paste them in here, choose to replace when asked.
- navigate to Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safecodes then copy the 'RSBE01.gct' file from the 'wifi' folder and paste them in here, choose to replace when asked.
Now you're ready to make .ISO in BrawlBuilder
Follow all the steps we did for making the Normal version of Project M but with the 'Mod Folder (?):' & 'GCT File (?):' the root folder is Project M 3.6 (Homebrew) Wi-Fi Safe and for the Optional Extras use these
- 'Change game ID:' - RSBEPW
- 'Change game title:' - Smash Bros. Brawl - Project M 3.6 Wi-Fi Safe (USA) [RSBEPW]
- 'Change game banner:' - RSBEPW.bnr'
Brawl

Note: This website does not support piracy, and the officially supported methods all require a legitimate copy of the game. Additionally, this website does not support any modification to the Wii system, and encourages users to use the 'Hackless' method of loading.

The Full Codeset takes advantage of all that Project M has to offer. However, for WiFi and replays to function properly, the WiFi-Safe set must be used. The WiFi-Safe set does not differentiate between L/R lightpress and full press or have C-stick buffering, nor does it have Stock Control or Stage Strike. The PMDT recommends you play with the Full Codeset unless you're specifically using WiFi/Replays. You may switch between these two builds simply by replacing RSBE01.gct, the menu2 folder, and the system folder.

  • The downloads below are for NTSC Brawl Discs and Wii's only.
  • Your SD card must be less than or equal to 2 GigaBytes in capacity to use Project M. Note: The Project M installation includes both music and textures as part of the standard package. If you have custom content on your card, it will be overwritten.

Please follow the instructions below. Note: The instructions are for the Hackless method. If you're using a Homebrew method, simply delete any previous version of Project M, extract the files to your SD card then boot Homebrew and select the Project M Launcher. If you are using the Installer, you will prompted to select a package to download.

  • Delete any custom Brawl stage files on your Wii and SD Card! Don't assume that because you haven't made any there aren't any; 3 custom stages are included with a new savefile of Brawl.
  • Delete any previous version of Project M from your SD Card and make sure the card itself is not named 'Project M' or any derivative thereof.
  • Unzip the file and open the folder that comes out, or use the Installer to download and generate the folder instead.
  • Move the contents of that folder to your SD Card.
  • Remove any Gamecube Memory Cards.
  • Boot up Brawl and go to the Stage Builder.
  • The Project M Launcher will boot; select Launch Game.
  • You will see a straploader saying Project M 3.6. Additionally, if your menu image looks like the image below, then go ahead and play and enjoy Project M!
