- Online Password Bruteforce with Hydra-GTK Hydra (better known as “thc-hydra”) is an online password attack tool. It brute forces various combinations on live services like telnet, ssh, http, https, smb, snmp, smtp etc. Hydra supports 30+ protocols including their SSL enabled ones.
- Hydra is a powerful penetration testing tool. It allows you to brute force almost anything. Please note that all of the tutorials here regarded on penetration testing and ethical hacking are only meant for testing and/or educational purposes. Do not harm anyone’s devices without their permission.
The GUI wallet provides a nice user interface, adaptable to all kinds of users, but it is especially recommended for less technical people who want to quickly send and receive XMR. Created for less technical users who only want to use Monero in the easiest and quickest way possible. In short, this post explains how to initialize an ISO 14443-A smart card with short or standard frame thanks to the hydra NFC v2 console. Straightforwardly, you will be able to send correct commands or ill-formed command to fuzz a card. In a next post, we will see how to initialize an ISO 14443-B smart card and how to build TPDUs commands.

Be aware that some antiviruses and firewalls may flag the Monero executables and archives as malware. More info in the FAQ.
Verify
You are strongly advised to verify the hashes of the archive you downloaded. This will confirm that the files you downloaded perfectly match the files uploaded by the Monero development workgroup. Please don't underestimate this step, a corrupted archive could result in lost funds. Always verify your downloads!
These SHA256 hashes are listed for convenience, but a GPG-signed list of the hashes is at getmonero.org/downloads/hashes.txt and should be treated as canonical, with the signature checked against the appropriate GPG key in the source code.
